About ISFOC
The Institute for Concentration Photovoltaic Systems (ISFOC) is a company founded in 2006 within the Castilla-La Mancha Financial Institute Group. It is currently attached to the Regional Ministry for Sustainable Development of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government by virtue of Decree 112/2023, of 25 July, which establishes the organisational structure and responsibilities of the Regional Ministry for Sustainable Development. ISFOC is the outcome of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government’s commitment to research, development and innovation (R&D+i) and renewable energy sources.
ISFOC is located in Puertollano, in the La Nava III Industrial Estate. Its facilities comprise the headquarters building and two experimental photovoltaic plants connected to the grid: one on land adjacent to the headquarters building and another in the municipality of Almoguera (Guadalajara), with a total capacity of 1.1 MW connected to the electrical grid. The headquarters building also houses laboratories and prototype installations for the various projects carried out by ISFOC.
