Joining ISFOC is the Moroccan researcher Oumaima Abbou

ISFOC has over three years of intense and close collaboration with UNED in social projects, offering opportunities for female researchers from the African continent to undertake internships at our organisation. Here, they can develop their professional careers, acquiring skills in R&D, photovoltaic solar energy, and project participation.

In this case, we welcome Oumaima Abbou, a young student from Nador, to expand her knowledge and gain experience in the business world, providing a clear opportunity for her future professional life.

Oumaima Abbou holds a degree in Physical Science (2018-2022). She studied at the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Nador (Morocco), where she is also currently studying Hispanic Philology. She joins ISFOC, a public company affiliated with the Ministry of Sustainable Development of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, accompanied by her two tutors from the UNED Associated Centre in Melilla, Professors Hassan and Hossein Hossein Mohand, who supervise her Master's Thesis at UNED.

She has been selected by the National University of Distance Education (UNED) as a scholarship holder to undertake a 12-month research stay at ISFOC, Puertollano, through the Women for Africa Foundation.

Oumaima's research at ISFOC will be related to R&D tasks in the projects currently being developed at ISFOC in photovoltaic technology development, energy efficiency, and/or green hydrogen generation. This will allow her to learn about the management and implementation of an Occupational Risk Prevention system in a real business environment.
