THE INSTITUTE FOR CONCENTRACION PHOTOVOLTAICS SYSTEM OBTAINS THE ACCREDITATION FROM ENAC AS A CLIMATE TESTING LABORATORY

ISFOC laboratories have been accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) as a UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 testing laboratory for conducting climatic tests according to the international standard UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 60068.

With this accreditation, ISFOC becomes the first entity in Castilla-La Mancha capable of performing accredited tests under the UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 60068 standard, which covers the environmental testing of electronic equipment and products to assess their ability to be stored, transported and used under environmental conditions including extreme cold and dry heat conditions and humid environments.

 ISFOC (INSTITUTE FOR CONCENTRATION PHOTOVOLTAICS SYSTEMS SAU), located in Puertollano (Ciudad Real) is a public company integrated in the Group Instituto de Finanzas de Castilla-La Mancha, and depends on the Department of Sustainable Development of the Junta de Communities de Castilla-La Mancha.

This accreditation allows ISFOC to issue test reports including ENAC accreditation, which confers an additional guarantee of safety, technical competence and reliability of the results, all under strict quality control. This type of tests means a great support to the manufacturers of equipment and products in order to demonstrate their regulatory compliance. These tests in particular are fundamentally carried out by the automotive components industry, to which ISFOC can offer greater quality and strictness in the tests to be carried out, as well as certified results thereof.

This accreditation is a differentiating element in the market with respect to other testing laboratories and, in addition, guarantees a rigorous and accredited service both nationally and internationally, thus increasing ISFOC's commercial opportunities, offering this service in Castilla-La Mancha at the moment.

Achieving this accreditation is the result of the effort carried out by the entire ISFOC team to increase the quality and reliability of its services, increasingly opening the range of products covered by the scope of its ENAC accreditation (No. 1410 / LE2590) and its adaptation to the new products that are entering the market, which will allow ISFOC to continue to remain as a referral testing laboratory.
