Successful participation in the SEMINAR

“R&D&I Financing in Business Projects. Uses and Applications of Renewable Energies”

The Director General of Universities, Research and Innovation of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha, Mr. Ricardo Cuevas, together with the Deputy Mayor of Puertollano, Mr. Miguel Peña, inaugurated the FIRST SEMINAR "R&D&I Financing in Business Projects. Uses and Applications of Renewable Energies". The seminar was promoted by the Directorate General and organised by the Concentration Photovoltaic Systems Institute "ISFOC" (a society dependent on the Regional Ministry of Economy, Enterprises and Employment, through the Castilla-La Mancha Finance Institute). The seminar took place at the central headquarters of ISFOC located in Puertollano and was attended by more than 35 participants, all of whom were from the academic, scientific, and mainly business sectors.

At the event, representatives from various companies and institutions, both regional and national (CDTI, Castilla-La Mancha Finance Institute, Arosa I+D, GFM, R&D Energies, ITECAM), discussed the various opportunities and funding formulas for R&D&I, as well as the current public aid calls and financial instruments available to companies. Likewise, during the seminar, success stories regarding the various applications that Photovoltaic Solar Energy has in the industrial and agricultural fields were analysed.
