ISFOC will organize the event "Integration of Photovoltaic Solutions in Buildings. BIPVBoost Project: Solutions and Experiences" on April 13, 2023, at their headquarters in Puertollano. The BIPVBoost Project.

The event aims to provide attendees with a real demonstration of PV integration in buildings through the pilot executed at ISFOC. Attendees will discover that the use of photovoltaic modules as building components allows for the replacement of conventional construction materials, such as roof cladding, skylights, pergolas, and facades, which are energy-passive, with active materials capable of generating energy from incident solar radiation. This optimizes the building's energy performance and provides savings for owners. The architectural integration of solar photovoltaic energy, internationally known by the acronym BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics), is one of the key tools for achieving zero-energy (ZEB) or positive-energy buildings.

The event will feature representatives and experts in the Spanish BIPV field from technology centers, solution manufacturers, and construction companies, and will include a visit to the ISFOC pilot installation with photovoltaic railings and floors. The visit is aimed at professionals and companies in the sector, investors, construction companies, architects, and surveyors.
