DESCRIPTION: ISFOC is taking part in Project SolarIA Geoservices whose main goal is to optimize and improve the present techniques and tools used to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic plants through research and technological innovation.
To achieve this objective, the project aims to cover the following specific goals:
· Revamping photovoltaic plants maintenance using advanced digital technologies, while maximising production and minimising maintenance cost.
· Development of a technological platform integrating innovative services capable of optimising both preventive and corrective operation and maintenance processes, adapting it to the needs and characteristics of each facility.
· Combination of satellite image analysis techniques using artificial intelligence, Big Data tools, IoT devices and virtual and augmented reality solutions, all of them applied from an Industry 4.0 perspective in order to improve, simplify and optimise the maintenance of photovoltaic plants.
SolarIA Geoservices Project Will be developed under 2025 Call of Aids for the support of Innovative Business Groups (AEI) from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The main objective of these aids is to strengthen business groups and improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
