Great participation success in the Conference
“R&D finance in business projects. Uses and applications of Renewable Energies”
The General Director of Universities, Research, and Innovation from the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Mr. Ricardo Cuevas, along with the Deputy Major of the Puertollano City Council, Mr. Miguel Peña, inaugurated the first Conference, “R&D Finance in Business Projects: Uses and Applications of Renewable Energies.” The Conference was promoted by the General Director of Universities, Research, and Innovation, being organized by the Institute for Concentration Photovoltaics Systems “ISFOC” (subsidiary company under the Department of Economy, Enterprises, and Employment from the Castilla-La Mancha Government, through the Financing Institute of Castilla-La Mancha). The Conference took place in ISFOC headquarters in Puertollano and was attended by more than 35 participants, all of them belonging to the academic, scientific, and, mainly, to the business communities.
In the conference, representatives of different companies and institutions, both regional and national, such as CDTI, the Financing Institute of Castilla-La Mancha, Arosa I+D, GFM, I+D Energias, and Itecam intervened about the different opportunities and financing formulas for R&D as well as presenting calls for public aid and financial instruments currently existing for companies. Likewise, during the development of the conference, several success cases were analysed concerning the diverse applications of PV energy at the industrial and agricultural levels.
