ISFOC visits the Arcilla Technological Centre in Toledo

This 10 April, the Instituto de Sistemas Fotovoltaicos de Concentración has held a meeting with the Arcilla Technology Centre in order to identify synergies and possibilities for collaboration. After the meeting, the attendees visited the laboratories and facilities of the Arcilla Technology Centre to learn about all its capacities and the works that are currently being developed in the centre.

During this meeting, they analysed different possible projects on the integration of photovoltaic solar energy in the production of construction elements, as well as for the development of different ceramic materials with photovoltaic power generation capacity.

It is expected that new meetings will be held in order to encourage the collaboration of the ceramic sector of Castilla La Mancha and the photovoltaic sector in future projects and technological developments.

The Arcilla Technology Centre, located in Toledo, is fundamentally oriented towards the sectors of construction materials and the environment, especially highlighting the activity developed towards the brick and tile manufacturing industries of Castilla-La Mancha.

The Instituto de Sistemas Fotovoltaicos de Concentración, located in Puertollano, develops its research and development of technology activity in the fields of photovoltaic solar energy, energy efficiency, and smart sensors.
